New Orleans Pelicans open basketball practice session for public at Smoothie King Centre
New Orleans Pelicans have their basketball practice session open to the public at the Smoothie King Center on Saturday, October 1st, and they are having a whale of a time.

New Orleans Pelicans is currently languishing in the middle of the charts in the Western Conference, with the Suns and Phoenix heading the table with 64 wins and 18 losses. The Pelicans have 36 wins and 46 losses. Even though they are in the middle, that did not stop the local fans from coming and seeing their favourite players battle it out during a practice session. The session was open to the general public so they could cheer and introduce the players to the fans.
Fans lined both flanks at the Smoothie King Centre as the players walked in for a practice round. The team member slapped hands with the public, stretching out both their hands for a tap. The outdoor court had children storming the paint before the session began indoors. The practice session began with the team starting their warm-ups and Jaxson Hayes demonstrating his prowess at dunking the ball.

Watching a slam dunk being practiced is a real thrill for the fans. The power forward was quite a local favourite, and the power forward was winning fan support with his slam dunks. The coach, Willie Green, was his calm self while directing the team for the practice. Trey Murphy also entertained the crowd with his mid-court throws.
