Romania is getting 18 F-16 jets from the Netherlands for just 1 Euro. The official deal will be signed by Romanian Defense Minister Ionuț Moșteanu. He is in The Hague, Netherlands, with Romanian President Nicusor Dan, attending the NATO Summit, according to the Romania Journal report.
Romania’s air force is growing fast
With these 18 new jets, Romania's total number of F-16 fighter jets will be over 70. The donation is linked to the F-16 pilot training center already set up in Romania. Ukrainian pilots are currently being trained at this center.
