The streaming giant’s interest in classic literature continues with the potential adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice." This novel is one of Austen’s most well-known works and has been adapted several times over the years.

‘Pride and Prejudice’ Story
"Pride and Prejudice," first published in 1813, follows the journey of Elizabeth Bennet. She is intelligent but finds herself clashing with Mr. Darcy, a man she initially dislikes. Over time, Elizabeth learns that love can overcome pride and prejudice. The novel explores themes of social class, family and relationships. Many adaptations of the book have been made, including a 2005 movie starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, and a 1995 BBC miniseries with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.

Dolly Alderton
Dolly Alderton is a well-known author. Her memoir, "Everything I Know About Love," became a bestseller in 2018. Her latest book, "Good Material," was released last year. It is a fictional story about a male comedian dealing with a breakup.
