The passengers begin to board the plane that has returned, including Ben and Micaela. Ben also forgives Angelina for his wife’s murder and lets her get into the plane with the other surviving passengers. As the plane takes off, Suddenly, the world begins to burn just and the higher power begins to judge the passengers for their sins, or good deeds. Angelina's acquaintances burn to ash but she survives, after she confesses her murder. But she may not survive further.

The plane finally lands and the passengers find themselves in New York City. The date is April 7, 2013 – the exact date and time the flight was meant to land before it went missing!
