Sofia Vergara, and Netflix have been sued by the estate for Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco. The OTT streaming giant is filming a series on Griselda Blanco. The 51-year-old "Modern Family" actress is playing the lead character of Blanco, according to reports.

Blanco's son Michael Corleone Blanco and his wife have filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County court in Florida, as per USA Today report.

In his legal action, Michael Corleone Blanco alleges that the creators of the show utilized his unpublished "artistic literary work" and his image to portray the life story of both himself and his mother, Griselda Blanco De Trujillo, without obtaining the necessary permission or providing due credit, as per the USA today report. Blanco is all set to publish a book about his mother.
