Netflix has announced job openings for a game director, art director and technical director, indicating that the entertainment giant is eyeing to create more than just mobile games. The job openings were spotted by Mobilegamer.biz. The positions have been announced for Netflix's newly launched Los Angeles games studio. The company also opened jobs for roles like engineer and producer for a project that has been described as "a brand-new AAA PC game." No further details of the project are available as of now.

While listing the job opening for the position of game director, Netflix stated that it was looking for a "creative leader" of one of the company's first generation of original games developed internally. Netflix has long been aiming to enter the gaming arena. However, the company has largely focussed on mobile games.
