The 10-episode drama, which is based on Ali Novak's eponymous novel of the same name, is a project brought to life by the same producers responsible for Netflix's popular "The Kissing Booth" film trilogy.
The series follows the narrative of 15-year-old Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez), whose affluent life in Manhattan is abruptly disrupted by a tragic accident that claims her family. Taken in by her mother's best friend Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and her husband, George (Marc Blucas), Jackie finds herself uprooted to Colorado, where her new guardians are raising a bustling household of 10 children, including the studious Alex (Ashby Gentry) and the troubled Cole (Noah LaLonde).
The trailer aptly hints at the dilemma Jackie will face, torn between her affection for two Walter boys: the dependable and studious Alex (Ashby Gentry) and the enigmatic and troubled Cole (Noah LaLonde).
In addition to the leading cast, the series features a talented ensemble including Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Dean Petriw, Lennix James, Alix West Lefler, Isaac Arellanes, Myles Perez, Zoë Soul, Alisha Newton, Jaylan Evans, Ashley Tavares, Moheb Jindran, Ellie O'Brien, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Nathaniel Arcand, and Alex Quijano.
The series, conceptualized by Melanie Halsall, is a collaborative production between iGeneration Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Ed Glauser serving as the executive producer.
The series will be available for streaming on the OTT platform from December 7.
