Netflix dominates 2022 streaming charts, 'Wednesday', 'Stranger Things', and 'Ozark' top list

Netflix has dominated the 2022 Nielsen US streaming charts. Netflix originals such as 'Wednesday', "Stranger Things", and 'Ozark' stole the limelight. Even Netflix's acquisitions such as 'NCIS' and 'Cocomelon' have worked well.

Netflix managed to secure 11 out of the top 15 spots in overall programme list. Apart from this, on the originals list, Netflix grabbed 13 spots.

"Stranger Things" was undisputed winner after securing numero uno spot on both overall and originals lists. 'Ozark' featured at number two position on Originals list and number 4 on overall programme chart. 'Wednesday' was third on the originals list and 12th on the overall chart.



"Stranger Things" accumulated 52B viewing minutes, 'Ozark' had 31.3B viewing minutes, and Wednesday had 18.6B viewing minutes. 'Cocomelon' notched up 37.8B viewing minutes, and 'NCIS' gathered 38.1B viewing minutes.

Other shows such as "Virgin River", "Cobra Kai", 'Bridgerton', "Inventing Anna", 'Dahmer', "Love Is Blind", and "The Crown" feature in Top 10 list for originals.

Amazon Prime Video has "The Boys", and "The Rings of Power" in the top 15 list of originals. Disney+ has 'Encanto', "The Simpsons", and 'Bluey' in the top 15 list of overall programmes.
