Netflix cancels series 'The Imperfects' after season 1
Netflix's newest supernatural coming-of-age series premiered on September 8, and precisely two months later, the series was confirmed to be cancelled, with no plans to return for a season 2.

‘The Imperfects’, created by Shelley Eriksen and Dennis Heaton, follows three teenagers as they participate in an experiment that results in horrible adverse effects. The trio joins forces to uncover the scientist responsible and, maybe, a solution. The series was created by the same production group that created The I-Land, The Order (which was terminated after two seasons), and Wu Assassins for Netflix.

Netflix Renewal Status: Cancelled
The program was cancelled by Netflix on November 8, 2022, along with Partner Track (another first show for Netflix in 2022), indicating that it would not return for a second season. As previously said, Netflix will consider a variety of criteria when deciding whether to renew a program, and one crucial metric for a show of this scale will be how many people complete the series.
The Imperfects received mixed reactions from critics. There aren't enough reviews to warrant a Metacritic or RottenTomatoes critic rating. It has a 79% rating on RottenTomatoes and a 6.1/10 rating on IMDb out of 1.5K reviews. If the program is cancelled, as many people fear, marketing for the show will undoubtedly be targeted.
