Netflix cancelled the animated show 'Inside Job' even after it was renewed for the second season.

The show is a comedy set up in a Cognito workplace, a hidden organisation that helps control the world. It leads by a team headed by Reagan Ridley (Lizzy Caplan), a robotics engineer.
Inside Job season one was divided into two parts, one premiered in October 2021 and the other in November 2022. Netflix announced the second season early on but now taken a back step.
Shion Takeuchi tweeted on January 9, apologizing with broken heart emoji for the future of the show.
The creator of Gravity Falls said he is heartbroken with Netflix canceling Inside Job season 2 as with time the characters had become real people to him.

Takeuchi thanked everyone for watching the show and expresses distress over losing characters like Reagan and Brett who deserved a happy ending.
