Welcome back, folks, to our daily Nerdle feed. Today, we have a mind-boggling equation for today. The six attempts you get may not be enough for today’s Nerdle, and the clue and hints we have may be crucial for you. However, for the uninitiated, here’s all the info on this nerdy puzzle.

What is Nerdle?

Nerdle was created by data scientist Richard Mann, who came up with the idea for a mathematical puzzle inspired by Wordle while chatting with his teenage daughter. The game is similar to Wordle in gameplay. However, instead of finding a five-letter word, you need to find a maths equation.

Apart from the equation part, Nerdle retains all the good bits of the sensational word game. You get one puzzle per day, which is accessible only through mobile and desktop browsers. The game’s forte is its simplicity and the absence of ads and permission requisites. The game discourages addiction, unlike other internet games that want you to be hooked for hours.

How to Play Nerdle?

You can start playing Nerdle by following this link. Once on the website, you will see a grid of six slots, much like Wordle. However, you need to insert numbers and numeric symbols instead of inserting letters to get the correct equation. Start the game by inserting one equation, the only criterion being that it should be a logical one. Each slot will have eight blocks for the number and symbols.

For example, you can start by typing 5+6-1=10. Once you take the first guess, the numbers and symbols from the correct equation will be highlighted in purple, while the rest will remain normal. The highlighted numbers and symbols if in the correct position, will turn green, while those in the incorrect position will turn purple. Once all eight blocks in a slot turn green, you win the game.
