While most people are busy solving 5-letter word puzzles, there is a new version of brain teaser and this time, it is not to test the vocabulary but mathematical knowledge. Nerdle is the mathematical version of Wordle, conceptualised by Richard and Imogen Mann.

How to play Nerdle?

It is pretty much a Wordle version of a math puzzle. Here, you will be assigned to set some numbers and mathematical symbols to solve a calculation. Just like Wordle, once you enter the calculation, you will be alerted to which numbers and symbols are correctly or wrongly positioned. Here, the changing colour of the boxes will indicate whether the numbers or symbols are positioned in the correct place as they are appeared to be to solve the equation.
