NeNe Leakes says son Brent sufferred stroke, faces ‘serious’ health issues

NeNe Leakes, the former star of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" solicits prayers for her son Brent (23), who suffered a stroke and has many health problems.

The star mother revealed that her son suffered heart failure and a stroke two weeks ago, which is certainly surprising for a young man his age.

Her son Brent was admitted to the hospital following the incident. NeNe Leakes has been updating her fans on Instagram about Brent's condition, and said that doctors failed to pinpoint the cause of heart failure and stroke.




The doctors think the stroke could have been caused by COVID-19 or HIV, but nothing is definite.

NeNe Leakes said that when the incident occurred, it was indeed scary, but she avoided going into details. She even recalled her problem of developing blood clots in her lungs in 2013.

She revealed that the doctors think Brent was born with a disease that has only unravelled itself recently. NeNe Leakes mentioned that her son felt a bit stressed since his dad's death in September 2021. Despite such difficulties, her son appears to be happy and in good spirits.

Additionally, NeNe Leakes believed that the Linnethia Lounge, a bar near Atlanta owned by her son, needs to be sold. She also asked for anyone interested in buying the place to get in touch with her. There is just too much to deal with at the moment for NeNe, she said.

Moreover, the star has sued the RHOA franchise, run by NBC, Bravo and True, for racially insensitive behaviour being tolerated and indulged by them.
