NBA's investigation into Josh Giddey: What we know so far
Images and videos circulating on social media depict an individual, purportedly Giddey, in the company of a female. The timeline and location of these visuals remain unclear. Despite the original poster deleting the content, others have saved and ...

He is also likely to play against Timberwolves at Minnesota on Tuesday.
Even as Giddey and the Thunder haven't said much while addressing the situation, here's everything we know so far.
Here is what we know about the Giddey situation:
What is being claimed on social media?
Social media posts show a man, ostensibly Giddey, in photos and videos with a female. The timeline and location of these visuals remain uncertain. Although the individual who initially shared the images has since deleted them, others saved and circulated the content. These images started surfacing on various social media platforms at the onset of the Thanksgiving weekend, prompting a response from the league on Friday.
What is Thunder's stance?
Oklahoma City coach Mark Daigneault said, "Available to play. Will play. No change in status from a basketball standpoint. Still, I have no comment on anything else," while adding:“it’s obviously a league matter at this point.”
During Friday's practice, the Thunder allowed Giddey to interact with the media. However, he chose not to address what appeared on social media.
“I understand the question obviously, but there’s no comment right now,” Giddey said.
He contributed 10 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds in the Thunder's 127-123 loss to Philadelphia on Saturday.
What's the status of NBA’s inquiry?
The NBA has acknowledged that it is investigating the allegations. However, the league typically refrains from providing incremental updates in such situations. The NBA is thorough in its due diligence and follows a deliberate process. In legal matters, the league generally waits for resolution within the court system before issuing any punishments. A precedent for this approach is the suspension of Miles Bridges after he pled no contest to a domestic violence charge. In cases without criminal or legal complications, like the Ja Morant gun incidents, the league will make a decision once its investigation is concluded.
