With three criminal charges against his name, Miles Bridges, a prominent NBA player for the Charlotte Hornets team, is facing significant threats to his sporting career.

The professional basketball player Charlotte Hornets, who plays in NFL, has been accused by his girlfriend, Michelle Johnson for the crime. She also posted frightening images of her wounds after the attempted assault on June 27 and 28 at a house in Los Angeles.
Johnson, 24, had stayed silent on the matter earlier. She claimed on social media platforms that Bridges strangled her until she blacked out and punched her in the face. She was traumatised and suffered concussion due to the incident. However, the kids were not harmed.
Three criminal charges against Bridges
As per the reports, Bridges has been charged with two felony counts of child abuse and one felony count of harming a child's parent.
The basketball star turned himself in a day later when police showed up at his house, and according to authorities, he was released after posting a $130,000 bail.
Bridges' career is in trouble
Bridges would face severe consequences and might have to spend several years in prison if proven guilty of the serious charges against him.
Domestic abuse is not just an incident that takes place. It has long-lasting effects in which the survivors suffer from mental, physical, and emotional turmoil. Children who experience domestic violence are particularly vulnerable and suffer irreparable harm, said Los Angeles District Attorney Gascón.
