This year, the NBA is shaking things up by introducing a mini-tournament format for the All-Star Game, a fresh take on the classic event.


While fans and players await the official festivities, the starting line-ups for both the Eastern and Western Conference teams have been revealed, following an exciting and competitive voting process. The voting, which ran from December 19 to January 20, was a mix of fan votes (50%), media votes and player votes.

Changes to the format

This year’s All-Star Game will look slightly different. Instead of the traditional East vs. West match-up, the 2025 event will feature a four-team mini-tournament. Three of the teams will consist of eight NBA All-Stars each, while the fourth team will comprise up-and-coming players from the NBA Rising Stars Game.

· NBA All-Star Game: 8:00 p.m. ET

All the action will take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, the home of the Golden State Warriors.
