This National Cinema Day is going to be spectacular. You ask why? Well, it's because movie lovers will get tickets for all shows and seats just for €4 throughout the day. The percentage of participating cinemas is a whopping 95%, and tickets will be available Monday onwards at box offices and on the official cinemas' websites.

You may check your local listings and decide what you will watch. The Joyride and Phil Lynott: Songs for While I'm Away filmmaker Emer Reynolds would be lending her support to the National Cinema Day. She said there is nothing like cinema's magic—the shared experience of crying, laughing, and emotions. She believes it is one of the biggest joys of life. She added she couldn't wait to celebrate National Cinema Day and would be going to her local cinema to watch movies.

3D screenings, screens, and premium seats will all be available for €4 on September 3 throughout Ireland. You can start buying tickets from August 29.
More than a Century Director of Omniplex Cinemas, Mark Anderson, said they were delighted to be a part of the iconic day. He added cinema had been a part of Ireland for over 100 years, and it is an honor to be a part of National Cinema Day.
