In an emotional segment hosted by Raw general manager Adam Pearce, Naomi placed the title belt in the center of the ring, declaring 'the bloodline continues' as fans chanted 'baby Uso'. Though forced to step away for at least nine months, Naomi vowed to return after maternity leave and reclaim the championship she was compelled to relinquish.
"This isn’t the end. I’ll be back to take over again," she vowed, giving the rest of the women’s division the chance to battle over the now-vacant title in her absence.
The multi-time women’s champion, who married Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) in 2014, appeared in street clothes as Raw general manager hosted the segment.
