A former aid to Joe Biden and the current MSNBC host, Symone Sanders- Townsend severely criticized Nancy Pelosi for her major involvement in Joe Biden’s ‘very public demise’ during the 2024 US Presidential election cycle while she believes that Nancy Pelosi also contributed to Kamala Harris’s loss to Donald Trump, reported New York Post.

According to the New York Post, while having a panel discussion on MSNBC, Symone Sanders- Townsend took the name of Nancy Pelosi directly while questioning her strategic acumen and suggested that her actions only led to the Democrats losing control of the House. Additionally, Symone Sanders- Townsend also put forward an argument that Nancy Pelosi’s push for Joe Biden to exit the race too late prevented an open primary which could have eventually allowed other candidates to compete and potentially strengthen the position of Kamala Harris.
