A longtime resident of the Catalina Foothills neighborhood has shared details of a strange encounter that happened shortly before Nancy Guthrie disappeared, as per a report by The Mirror.

Aldine Meister, who has lived in the area for nearly three decades, described seeing a young man walking along the street near her home around January 11. Speaking during the March 9 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, she explained the moment she noticed him through her bathroom window.

Demonstrating the view she had from her house, she recalled, "I saw him out there. So I couldn't make out his face, although his hat was way down. He was walking down the road, I saw him and I was like 'ohhhhh that guy doesn't fit."

She said the man appeared unusual for the quiet residential area. "He was kinda hunched over, not in walking or hiking gear. He was dressed in street clothing," she continued. "So I thought that was weird because that's not normal."

According to Meister, the individual moved slowly along the road while looking toward the direction of Nancy Guthrie’s house.

She remembered the moment clearly. "It freaked me out and I'm not one of these people to be super freaked out by that but I was like, 'That's weird.'"

At the time, she only told her husband and mother about the encounter. After Nancy disappeared, she passed the information along to police, as per a report by The Mirror.
