Rookie Sonia Citron scored 21 points and Sug Sutton added 17 to lead the Washington Mystics to a 94-83 road win over the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday, extending their winning streak to a season-high three games.

The Mystics (8-8) also leveled the season series with Las Vegas (7-8) at one win apiece.

Washington had a balanced offensive effort, with Lucy Olsen contributing 14 points, Shakira Austin posting a double-double (13 points, 13 rebounds), and Kiki Iriafen adding 12 points and nine boards.



Austin secured the win with a clutch offensive rebound and layup late in the fourth.

The Mystics led 53-44 at halftime and came out strong in the third, opening with a 9-0 run to build a 62-44 advantage. They led by as many as 22 and took a 79-61 lead into the fourth.

Las Vegas made a late push, trimming the deficit to seven, but rookie Olsen’s timely 3-pointer helped put the game out of reach.
