'My World Cup trip to Qatar will be paid me', says New York City Mayor Adams
Eric Leroy Adams formerly known as Mayor Adam is currently of the view to have a self-funded trip to Qatar. Here’s what he said.

Adams has a flight scheduled for Wednesday to Athens, where the Mayor's Summit against Anti-Semitism is taking place. Then, considering that New York City and New Jersey will host the tournament, he'll fly to Doha, Qatar, for a trip to know more about the 2022 World Cup.
Adams explained that he is a down to Earth person when questioned why he preferred going rather than sending his assistant. He said that it is essential to be on the ground to know what is happening there. He asks the audience about their views.
Adams also clarified that he would be covering the cost of his stay in Qatar out of his own pocket.
The mayor continued that he was taking a fast flight at his cost to investigate what was occurring there so that they could be ready since he was already in the area to deal with the anti-Semitism.
When asked which World Cup matches he intends to watch, Hizzoner replied that he is unsure.
According to Adams, the summit is picking up the tab for the trip to Athens.
