Japanese singer Sayuri, who sang for "My Hero Academia" season 4 and 'Erased', has passed away.

Sayuri was suffering from functional dysphonia. She also endured chronic condition, as per a report on dexerto.
Sayuri was part of "About a Voyage" in "My Hero Academia" season 4. The singer was the voice behind "Edens Zero" season one's "Sekai no Himitsu", "Lycoris Recoil" season one's "Tower of Flower". Sayuri became popular with anime Erased's "Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no Youna".

Sayuri rose to the fame after winning a Japanese national singing contest in 2012. She subsequently left school to start a career. Her debut solo original album was released in 2015. Seven years later, her second solo album was released. Sayuri featured in numerous music videos.
In March, 2024, Sayuri revealed that she was married. Earlier in July 2024, Sayuri stated that she would be taking break from singing career.
