The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2023 were held on September 12, 2023, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Hosted by singer Nicki Minaj, the ceremony was held on a Tuesday for the first time in its history. Among the big winners were Taylor Swift, and Maneskin.

Maneskin is a rock band from Italy, formed in 2016. The band, consisting of lead vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio, are winners of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest winners.

Maneskin was awarded Best Rock Video for the song The Loneliest at Eurovision 2021. At the MTV VMAs 2023, the group was awarded the Best Rock Video as well for the same song. Maneskin also came in second on the music reality show X Factor Italy in 2017.
