More trouble for singer R. Kelly as key victim to testify in child pornography case
The alleged victim will testify against the singer in the infamous Chicago case from 2008.

In 2008, Kelly was acquitted by the jurors that he produced the video of himself having sex with a minor girl who was less than 14 years of age. The girl refused to testify and cooperate, and Kelly got scot-free.
However, the situation is different this time as the girl will testify and address the claims that R. Kelly manipulated the case in 2008 to obstruct justice – including alleged payment and threatening. The girl's identity remained concealed all these years, but now she will share her experience from her perspective.
As the 2008 trial is being resurrected, the 55 years old singer is already facing 30 years of imprisonment for a 2021 conviction on the grounds of sexually abusing young fans. And not only this, the twofold blow will include the other four accusers testifying against Kelly on charges of enticement of minors for sex.
Prosecutors plan to play the same VHS tape of 2008 and three other videos as evidence in the federal trial.
The three times Grammy Award winner has been a controversial figure and has repeatedly been accused of criminal activity and sexual abuse during his career.
