Towards the end of 2022, there was a word that after DAHMER -Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the viewers will receive two extra seasons of an anthology series by Ian Brennan and Ryan Murphy. The name of season 2 is Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

One of the most watched series of all time, DAHMER at present ranks third behind Wednesday and Stranger Things in the list of English language films. Netflix released the series worldwide on September 21, 2022.

The series will be focussing on both the brothers who killed their rich parents, Kitty and Jose Menendez infamously, in their home situated in Beverly Hills in the year 1989.

The brothers who are aged 21 and 18 years, have claimed that they have acted out of self-defense because of many years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. However, it was argued by the prosecution that a desire to inherit the fortune of the parents and greed were the factors that motivated the murders.

Most of the story will certainly be taking place in the courtroom, which was greatly made public lasting for months, resulting in a capture of the attention of the nation with the pair ultimately being changed.

During the initial years, of being jailed in disconnected prisons, Lyle, the oldest brother took shelter at the Mule Creek State Prison from 1996 – 2018, with Erik serving his tenure at the Pleasant Valley Prison.

In 2018, there was a reunion of the pair at the R.J Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, and very recently, the pair has been in the headlines, with several people on social media defending both brothers.

The cast of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story consists of Cooper Koch playing the role of Erik Menendez and Nicholas Alexander Chavez playing the role of Lyle Menendez.

Javier Bardem will play Jose Menendez and Chloë Sevigny will play Kitty Menendez.
