Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC users. Capcom has extended the beta due to a PlayStation Network outage.

Capcom extended the Open Beta Test 2 by 24 hours due to a PlayStation Network outage on February 7. The updated dates for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam are:

February 6, 2025, 7:00 PM PT – February 9, 2025, 6:59 PM PT (Concluded)

February 13, 2025, 7:00 PM PT – February 17, 2025, 6:59 PM PT
February 14, 3:00 AM GMT – February 18, 2:59 AM GMT

The beta supports crossplay and is open to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S users, even if they are not subscribed to PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Core/Ultimate. Players who participated in the first test on PS5 can transfer their character creation data.

Players need at least 18 GB of free space on their PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC. The beta can be pre-downloaded one day before each access window.
