Former US President Bill Clinton revealed that the Monica Lewinsky incident haunts him till date and he was pretty furious on a NBC star who asked him questions regarding that affair.

Former US President Bill Clinton has recently expressed his frustration with NBC's Craig Melvin for questioning him about not personally apologizing to Monica Lewinsky in an interview, reported DailyBeast. This exchange is detailed in the upcoming memoir of Bill Clinton named Citizen where he eventually reflects on the 2018 interview that pivoted to the #MeToo movement.

According to DailyBeast, during the conversation, Craig Melvin asked if Bill Clinton would have resigned had the scandal occurred in today's climate, in reply to which Bill Clinton responded that he would not have.

Bill Clinton certainly acknowledged that while he had publicly apologized for his actions, at the same time, he never directly apologized to Monica Lewinsky, asserted DailyBeast. He felt caught genuinely off guard by Craig Melvin's assertion that he had not apologized which eventually lead to a defensive response from Bill Clinton, who criticized Craig Melvin for lacking knowledge of the events surrounding the scandal.

DailyBeast noted that certain moment had been described by Bill Clinton as ‘not my finest hour’ while he also asserted that he carries severe regret over the situation. Bill Clinton, while acknowledging his past mistakes reiterated that he felt justified during the impeachment proceedings.
