Modest Mouse drummer Jeremiah Green battling stage 4 cancer, reveals mother

Jeremiah Green, one of the members of music band Modest Mouse has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. Green’s mother, Carol Namatame revealed about his conditions on social media and asked fans to send their blessings and prayers for him to get well soon.

Green is one of the founding members and drummer of the band Modest Mouse.

Carol Namatame took to her Facebook on the day of Christmas and asked Green’s fans to send healing vibes to his son. She said that Green is strong and brave and hanging in there.


Famous American DJ Marco Collins also shared the news on twitter asking fans to pray for his recovery and wellness. Green has been undergoing chemotherapy to battle his stage four cancer. In spite of having this serious phase, his progress is going well. The kind of cancer Jeremiah is fighting has not been revealed yet.

Modest drummer Green who is 45-year-old spoke out publicly about his diagnosis. Green has always performed with his band but took some time off between 2003-2004.

He is one of the co-founding members of the band which also includes other artists like Issac Brock and bassist Eric Judy.
