Model Jeremy Ruehlemann passes away at 27, tributes pour in as fashion world in disbelief

Tributes have started pouring in for Jeremy Ruehlemann, who passed away at 27, and is being remembered as a “beautiful man that gave so much love”. The tributes were led by designer Christian Siriano who called the New Jersey model “one of my muses”. Jeremy Ruehlemann became a well-known name in the industry as he modelled for pioneering brands such as Macy's, Zara, Superdry, John Varvatos, Joseph Abboud and even Nick Graham.

In his tribute, Christian remembered Ruehlemann as “the beautiful man that gave so much love to everyone he met no matter what”. The designer also said that the 27-year-old model was “one of my muses and he always will be” before sending love to Ruehlemann ‘s family and friends.

Apart from working for household names such as Superdry and Macy’s, he was featured in a number of renowned magazines like GQ and Playhaus. Celebrity make-up artist Hung Vanngo also mourned the model’s death and said that he was “heartbroken” by the sudden demise. On Instagram, Vanngo said that Ruehlemann “made such a large impact on everyone he met” and that he was “one of those people that even if you met him once he would have a part of your heart forever”.

Ruehlemann appeared to stay active on social media just days before his demise and he posted an image on Instagram from his photoshoot with Tommy Hilfiger. He captioned the image “Bts with Tommy”.
