Plot
David G. Derrick Jr. wrote and directed Moana 2, set to hit theaters on November 27. The animated feature follows Moana, voiced by Auli’i Cravalho, as she embarks on an unexpected journey in long-lost waters. This adventure begins after she receives a call from her trailblazing ancestors. Dwayne Johnson returns as the demigod Maui.


Production Team
Initially developed as a television series, Moana 2 was reworked into a theatrical sequel. The film includes new songs by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear. Osnat Shurer produced the movie, while Jennifer Lee served as executive producer.

Live-Action Moana Remake
