Baseball pitcher Logan Webb has come up with an effective performance as San Francisco Giants defeated Pittsburgh Pirates in a Major League Baseball (MLB) match. Webb (11-5) earned his second straight victory despite giving up five hits and two walks. Last weekend, he went seven innings while pitching effectively for Oakland, who won 6-4.

Derek Shelton, manager of the Pirates, praised the pitcher's changeup. He may carry it out at any moment throughout the count.

With three outs, Camilo Doval recorded his 17th save. With one out, Greg Allen drew a walk, stole second, and went from there on a groundout. But for the final out, Rodolfo Castro lined to the left.

Wade is striking. Since coming off the injured list, he has played 187 games (14 for 75), but in his last six games, he has gone 5 for 13 (.385).

He said, "My at-bats have been improved." I'm attempting to continue to work on it, one at bat at a time. It certainly seems to be heading in my direction.

In Pittsburgh's sixth defeat in six games, Castro got two hits. As the Pirates' starter, Tyler Beede (1-2), who made his major league debut with San Francisco in 2018, gave up two runs and three hits in three innings.

In 13 starts this year at Oracle Park, Webb has improved to 8-3. After pinch-hitter, Josh VanMeter and pinch-runner Bryan Reynolds walked, and Tucupita Marcano doubled, the Pirates loaded the bases in the eighth inning. However, Webb got out of the jam by striking out Ben Gamel.

Manager Gabe Kapler left Webb in the game, which he liked. Kap said, "OK, let's go," after I had walked Reynolds, Webb said.

In the third, Webb made a superb defensive play, catching Kevin Newman's soft grounder and sprinting to first base to get the out.
