The family of three that went missing in June during a camping trip were found safe on Friday. Authorities have confirmed that Jill Sidebotham, Nicholas Hansen and their two-year-old daughter Lydia were safe and that the Stanford PD had a video call with the three.

The three had gone missing on June 27 when they left for an impromptu camping trip. As the investigation began, authorities discovered that the three were spotted at a Walmart in Oxford County, Maine. The store was about 100 miles from Sidebotham's Stanford home.

As per a Fox News report, the Stanford PD said that three were unharmed and that there was no evidence of criminal behavior from Nicholas or Jill. The police also had local authorities meet the three in person, who verified that the three were safe.

As the family went missing in late June, there were reports of Nicholas, Jill's ex-boyfriend, being an abusive partner. Nicholas can be seen holding the baby. In another video, Jill can be seen outside a store carrying Lydia, probably waiting for Nicholas. As per US news reports, Jill's parents were against her relationship and advised her not to go on the trip with her ex-boyfriend. Friends and family reported for the three missing persons when they did not return from the three-day trip on June 30.

Following the reports of their disappearance, the local authorities initiated a comprehensive investigation, including tracing their digital footprints. The Maine Warden Service also undertook an aerial search that looked for the trio around Mexico and Rangeley. The National Center for Missing and Endangered Children (NCMEC) also ran a social media campaign to track down the family.
