Beauty queen Ariana Viera, who was the incumbent Miss Venezuela title holder, died of injuries from a car accident in Florida in July 2023. She was 26. Ariana Viera's mother Vivian Ochoa revealed to Telemundo31 that her daughter fell asleep while driving, as she was tired.

Ironically, the beauty queen had earlier posted a video of her own funeral on her social media in May 2023. "Recording myself for my future funeral because it's always me who takes the videos no one takes them of me," she had said in the caption of the Instagram video.

How Did Ariana Viera’s Car Crash?

Ariana Viera fell asleep at the wheel on July 13, and her car crashed with a truck. The accident happened in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida. Her mother informed that she had been suffering from fatigue and dozed off in the car, leading to the unfortunate accident. "My girl fell asleep. She was tired," Vivian Ochoa told Telemundo31.

"They revived her, but when they were going to take her to trauma care, she stayed there," she added.

Ariana Viera was revived by doctors but suffered a heart attack. She succumbed to her injuries. "She would stop everything to help you or listen to you. She was always there for her friends, her brothers, her mother," said Ochoa.

Ariana Viera was due to represent her country at the Miss Latin America of the World 2023 pageant in the Dominican Republic in October 2023.
