As a relief from harsh weather conditions caused by storms, Minnesota will likely have favourable weather from Tuesday. Several parts of Minnesota and some areas of South Dakota were put under a tornado watch till Monday evening. On Memorial Day, Minnesota had suffered around two rounds of storms.

Earlier, the National Weather Service had put Monday under the "Particularly Dangerous Situation" category for Minnesota. It was for the first time in a decade that the weather department had issued an advisory for such a category in Minnesota. The high probability of two or more tornadoes had prompted the National Weather Service to bring that category into effect.

As per reports, some tornadoes had struck parts of Minnesota on Monday. One of the affected parts was Forada town, which is located around 10 miles from Alexandria. While giving details about the tornadoes, Julie Anderson, the Douglas County Emergency Manager, told WCCO-TV that the storm was destructive, damaging approximately 100 structures. However, he said that the storm did not cause any death or serious injuries.

Minnesota has started to witness a drop in the temperature after the storm passed the city. As per weather predictions, the city can record a high temperature of 70 degrees, a 20-degree drop from Monday. Besides, the city's temperature is set to become more comfortable on Tuesday since there will be lower dew points. But the city can get a little rain on Tuesday as the day will likely be a breezy one.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Arrowhead and Minnesota till Tuesday evening.

As per weather predictions, Wednesday will record a cooler temperature, and after that, the temperature may remain around the mid-70s throughout the week. Besides, some spells of rainfall have been predicted for Thursday, while Saturday and Sunday might also register some rain.
