Miles Bridges, NBA star, arrested for felony domestic violence case
Former Charlotte Hornets’ star Miles Bridges, recently turned himself in to the LAPD for felony domestic violence. The NBA star allegedly had an argument with a woman, that turned physical. Bridges is set to appear in court on July 20th.

The news network, TMZ, reported that Miles had an argument with a woman, which then turned physical. A call to the police was made, but Bridges had left by the time they had arrived. It was reported that the woman needed medical attention after the alleged violence.
Jail records indicate that Miles voluntarily turned himself in, before being released on bond.
Miles Bridges will become a sought-after free agent, after completing four seasons with the Charlotte Hornets. In 2018, he was the 12th draft pick from Michigan State University, averaging 13.4 points, and 5.6 rebounds per game. In 2021-22, Miles enjoyed his best season yet, averaging 20.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
Earlier, at the end of Hornet’s 132-103 loss to the Hawks, Miles had received two technical fouls, and was subsequently ejected. He threw his mouthpiece in to the stands, which struck a fan, and was then fined USD 50,000. He had apologised saying “That’s out of character for me.”
Apart from being a rising NBA star, Miles Bridges also has a fledgling rap career under the name RTB MB. In 2020, he debuted with the greatly appreciated album ‘Up the Score’, followed by another album ‘Halftime’, in 2021.
This year, it was anticipated that he would be one of the top free agents in the offseason, but it is still to be seen how this latest incident will affect his chances. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 20. Both, the LAPD, and the Miles’ representatives did not respond for further clarification.
