AC Milan concluded their 2024–25 Serie A season with a 2–0 victory over Monza at the San Siro, securing a mid-table finish. Rafael Leão opened the scoring with a confident strike early in the second half, followed by Brahim Diaz’s precise finish late on to seal the victory.

Milan used this final game to blend regular starters with squad players, showing the depth Milan will rely on next season. It controlled possession and looked comfortable, but the performance lacked urgency, reflecting a season of ups and downs.

However, the match was overshadowed by widespread fan protests against the club's management.

Despite the win, Milan's season was marked by underachievement. The team finished 9th in Serie A, failing to qualify for European competitions. They were runners-up in the Coppa Italia and were eliminated early in the Champions League knockout phase. These results fell short of the club's expectations, leading to fan dissatisfaction.
