Mike Tyson punched me by mistake, says 'Liger' actor Vijay Deverakonda

'Liger' stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday recently spoke with 'Bollywood Life' about their moments with the boxing legend Mike Tyson. Actor Deverakonda made some shocking revelations in his recent interview.

'Liger' actor and Telugu cinema star Vijay Deverakonda, in a recent interview, said that he was scared of Mike Tyson. He revealed that the boxing legend punched him by mistake.

In an interview with 'Bollywood life', Vijay Deverakonda recalled the event when Mike accidentally punched him and said, "I was scared when I saw his hands, his feet, and his neck. He accidentally punched me during practice, which gave me a migraine the rest of the day. Although I wasn't knocked unconscious, my body wanted to collapse."

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday recently spoke with 'Bollywood Life' about their moments with Mike. "Although he was quite polite, I had been afraid earlier. I'd like to think that we are close friends," Deverakonda said.


With 'Liger' directed by Jagannadh Puri, Vijay Deverakonda, who has always been a celebrity in the South film industry, will make his Bollywood debut. He is not the only person making their Hindi debut, though. The film will also mark the Bollywood debut of boxing great Mike Tyson.

In 1986, at the age of 20, the legendary boxer Mike Tyson made headlines when he won the title of the world's youngest-ever heavyweight boxing champion. Moving forward, Vijay Deverakonda recently discussed a specific sequence that he filmed with Mike Tyson. The boxer accidentally punched him in that scene.

Vijay Deverakonda also discussed his emotions upon first encountering Mike Tyson. He recalled the occasion when he came on the sets one morning and was informed by the production crew that Tyson's size 14 feet prevented them from finding shoes for him. "My feet are huge, and I wear size 10 shoes. He claimed in the interview that his wrist size was similarly large when he came on set and said hello.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are using every promotional strategy they can think of to get their movie "Liger" seen by as many people as possible in the few days before its theatrical release. The movie's leading duo has been touring the nation in advance of its release to promote it. They have also been giving interviews to the media during this time, discussing their movie, their chemistry, and some interesting behind-the-scenes stories.

In the meantime, Vijay Deverakonda is embroiled in a controversy after he recently defended Aamir Khan's "Laal Singh Chaddha" in response to boycott calls. Soon after Vijay made his comment, similar "boycott requests" for the August 26 release of the movie 'Liger' also surfaced.
