Why did Donald Trump target Pope Leo?
In one of the most widely shared posts, Trump wrote, "Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy." He went on to criticize the pontiff’s comments about fear surrounding his administration, adding, "He talks about 'fear' of the Trump Administration, but doesn't mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart."
The remarks were followed by another sharp post in which Trump said he preferred the Pope’s brother, Louis, over the pontiff himself.
Trump later escalated the rhetoric by claiming Pope Leo’s rise to the papacy was somehow linked to his own influence and accused him of associating with "Obama Sympathizers" and "catering to the Radical Left."

Why are 25th Amendment calls growing?
The controversy intensified after video clips circulated on X showing Trump refusing to back down from his comments. Online users quickly began reviving calls for the 25th Amendment.
One user wrote, "I wish they would just invoke the 25th Amendment. He has lost it completely."
Another added, "Do we really need more evidence to conclude that he lost his mind?"
"No one cares if you think he's not doing a good job. He doesn't report to you and probably doesn't even bother to see what you spew from your filthy mouth," said another.
The calls were amplified by former CIA director John Brennan, who spoke out before the latest tirade fully dominated headlines, as per a report by The Mirror.
"This person is clearly unhinged. I think the 25th Amendment was written with Donald Trump in mind," Brennan told MS Now.
As the backlash continues to grow, the latest episode has once again placed Trump’s behavior and fitness for office under intense scrutiny, with demands for the 25th Amendment reaching a new peak.
