Microsoft Outlook users receive ‘junk emails’ in Inbox, tech giant yet to respond
Waking up to a bunch of email push notifications from Outlook and figuring out what went wrong? Well, if yes, the same was faced by several Microsoft Outlook users and they were seen raging, addressing or even joking about the issue on social medi...

A user posted on Twitter about this issue. He posted a picture on the microblogging platform of what appears to be his inbox, which was filled with obvious junk emails. In the image posted by him, there are several emails, which may lead to data theft, phishing and other cyber thefts.
The Verge’s Tom Warren reported that his Outlook inbox was filled with over 20 spam emails. He further adds that the spam emails kept on coming through the rest of the morning.
However, Tom Warren is definitely not the only one facing this issue – several users across social media platforms are noting this bug or issue (depends on how you take it).
British author and historian Hallie Rubenhold also addressed the issue and wrote, "I'm being bombarded. Someone, please make it stop!"
Furthermore, it’s advisable to turn off the email push notifications on the device, to prevent spam notifications, which could be irritating for users, waking up the device constantly after every other junk email.
Redmond-based tech giant hasn’t yet addressed the issue, or come up with any clarification or further details.
