Microsoft Outage: Did living Nostradamus predict it
After the Microsoft outage hit millions of internet users and almost all operations leading to digital payment, airlines, banks, stock markets and many more services came to an end, the question looming large at the world is whether this was predicted earlier. Has Brazilian fortune teller Athos Salome predicted the present internet outage? The astronomer, dubbed the living Nostradamus predicted "three days of darkness" in 2024. Did he mean this outage? The same person has also predicted the beginning of World War 3 this year. So what next?

Living Nostradamus warns against EMP

Talking to the 'MailOnline' earlier this year, the 36-year-old Brazilian talked about the advancements in warfare and said that Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) technology could have devastating effects on the world. EMP is triggered by explosions and it interacts with the Earth's magnetic fields to create pulses. These electromagnetic pulses can disrupt and damage electronic equipment and infrastructures across the world. Soviet Union was the first to understand the potentialities of the EMP in disabling enemy infrastructure without causing harm directly during World War 2.

EMP: Technology to neutralize threats

Salome said further that Washington has been exploring EMP capabilities since Operation Prime Tests in the 1960s. It tried to use this technology to neutralize threats with minimal physical damage.

Russia, and China working on EMP

The living Nostradamus said further that Russia and China are also working on EMP technologies as they want to use it as tools to disrupt the infrastructures of potential foes.

Who was Nostradamus?

Nostradamus was a 16th-century French soothsayer who is best known for his 942 quartets published in 'Les Propheties'. Many believe that these quatrets were prophesies written in codes, and open to interpretations in several ways.

Many of his followers believe that the French poet-physicist successfully predicted the Great Fire of London, the French Revolution, the rise of Napoleon and Adolf Hitler, World War 1 and World War 2, the nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Apollo Moon landing in 1969, the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986, the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997.
