Michelle quickly stated that Barack was the hardest member of their family to shop for during this time of year when Jennifer asked her. He's only a boy. Simply put, he is not very active. He plays golf, and there's only so many golf balls you can get a dude. He has the clubs already, asserted Michelle.

Michelle stated on the show that she was unable to get him another golf shirt. The former president, she continued, doesn't want anything and merely requests just a nice letter.

He's thrifty, she added, which is another reason he's so difficult to buy for. She was trying to get him clothes that he wouldn't buy because he's also cheap, said Michelle. When she is trying to convince him that if a jacket is really nice, you have gotta take it regardless of the price. But he thinks that it’s simply unwise to waste so much money on a jacket.

Michelle gave herself the title of best gift giver. The true best gift giver is Michelle's stylist, whom she acknowledged helped choose presents for her daughters.
