Miami woman charged for stealing two watches, including $37,000 Rolex, from Tinder date’s home; here's what we know

A case of alleged theft has emerged where a 24-year-old woman was arrested for stealing two watches of a man whom she met on dating app Tinder. The suspect was identified as Alexia Jocelyn Flores. She was arrested on Wednesday (September 23, 2026) on one count of second-degree grand theft, PEOPLE reported, citing jail records. The alleged incident of theft came to light on September 20, 2026 after a man claimed to police that Flores stole two watches from his Miami home, the news outlet reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit further revealed that the couple met on Tinder and went to dinner on September 19 before returning to the man’s home at around 11:21 p.m. the same evening. It further alleges that they spent “several hours drinking together.” At one point in the evening, the man asked Flores to leave the home.

According to the victim, the suspect changed clothes in the bedroom and bathroom, while he remained on the living room couch before he “escorted her to the elevator.” After he returned home, the man claimed that two watches, including a $37,000 Rolex, were missing from his bedside table. “The victim did not see the defendant take the watches,” the affidavit said, as quoted by PEOPLE.

Authorities spring into action

After the man approached authorities, investigators sprung into action and obtained the apartment building’s surveillance footage. They observed the couple entering the apartment building and Flores later exiting on her own after. According to police, Flores was arrested three days after the incident was reported. She was interviewed at Miami Police headquarters.

Flores denies allegations

During the questioning, Flores denied theft allegations and told authorities that “she had been drugged and could not recall what happened afterward,” according to the affidavit. Later, she was taken into custody and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. The victim pleaded not guilty on Thursday (September 24, 2026) according to a written plea obtained by PEOPLE.
