Meta AI: Mark Zuckerberg unveils AI chatbot attached to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp. Know its features in detail

Meta unveiled a new set of artificial intelligence systems Thursday. CEO Mark Zuckerberg called it "the most intelligent AI assistant that you can freely use."

According to 'The US Sun', Meta’s Chief Product Officer Chris Cox has said that the company is "still working on the right way to do this in Europe" where privacy rules are stricter.

He told the news outlet, "The goal eventually is to help take things off your plate, just help make your life easier, whether it’s interacting with businesses, whether it’s writing something, whether it’s planning a trip."

Meta Llama 3

Meta has used its latest large language model, Meta Llama 3, to quickly churn through information. It publicly released two smaller versions of the same Llama 3 system.

Zuckerberg said in a video message, "We believe that Meta AI is now the most intelligent AI assistant that you can freely use."

Using the prompt "imagine," users can ask Meta to produce any image that comes to mind.

Meta AI is similar to chat GPT. Microsoft-backed OpenAI and its ChatGPT service burst onto the scene in late 2022 and began changing the scenario.

"Real-time knowledge"

Google also has its own AI project, Gemini. In a smart move, Meta will use results from the two rivals' search engines within the chatbot for "real-time knowledge".
