It's another weekend, another row, and another "bombshell" book about the British royal family is going to be released.

UK media reports that Meghan Markle named two members of the Royal Household who she alleges took part in conversations regarding the color of her unborn child's skin before the publication this week of royal novelist Omid Scobie's second book Endgame.

This follows her comments to Oprah Winfrey nearly three years ago, when she and Prince Harry claimed that a member of the royal family had discussed "how dark his (her first child Archie) skin might be when he's born."

According to Scobie's book, Meghan Markle raised the further assertions in a letter exchange with King Charles in the spring of 2021, following the Winfrey interview.

It is unknown whether the second person is a family member or a serving member of the home.

The first individual was not named, but Harry and Meghan clarified after their interview that it was not the Queen or the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Queen issued a statement in response, expressing her worry about the charges but cautioning that "recollections may vary."

Earlier this year, while promoting his memoir Spare, Prince Harry denied making racist claims against Meghan Markle, stating they were concerned with "unconscious bias."

Scobie previously published Finding Freedom, a biography about Harry and Meghan, two years ago. The royal couple said at the time that they had not collaborated with the author, but a court case last year revealed that they had given him material through an intermediary. Scobie has stated that they did not collaborate with him on his most recent book.

The claim that there were two people risks reigniting a bitter race debate that prompted the late Queen Elizabeth to comment three years ago with the phrase "recollections may vary."

Both names are supposed to occur in letters exchanged between Meghan and Charles in the spring of 2021, following the Oprah interview.

According to the book, Meghan believed that "unconscious bias and ignorance" within the Royal Family needed to be addressed.

Meghan said statements were made during "several conversations" when she was questioned by Oprah in March 2021.

"I think that would be very damaging to them," she said, refusing to name names.

In January of this year, while promoting his book Spare, Harry denied the couple had made any claims of "racism" against the Royal Family.

Instead, the Duke of Sussex said "unconscious bias" was at work.

Endgame is Scobie's second royal book, following the couple's biography Finding Freedom, which she penned two years ago.
