Megan Thee Stallion’s boyfriend Pardison Fontaine shares message in support of women ahead of Tory Lanez trial verdict

Ahead of the Tory Lanez trial verdict, Megan Thee Stallion's boyfriend, rapper Pardison Fontaine has spoken in support of women who suffer injustice and stood by his girlfriend.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Fontaine made these remarks in the midst of the ongoing legal battle involving Tory Lanez, who is on trial and accused of shooting Megan in the feet after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house in July 2020.
Despite not being a plaintiff in the trial, Megan has faced widespread misinformation and backlash for speaking out about the harm she suffered.


Fontaine, also known as Pardi, issued a statement about the double-edged sword that women like Megan frequently face when they decide to pursue justice. On Thursday, after the arguments of the trial closed, Fontaine took to Instagram and said he feels for women, especially those of colour if they had to suffer injustice.

Fontaine asserted that when women find the courage to speak up, it seems they will be ridiculed and their credibility will be questioned. The entire past of a woman will be held under a magnifying glass, he added.



Megan testified against Lanez early in the trial, which began on December 12, for more than three hours. She talked about her terrified reaction to the shooting and the public reaction that made her wish that he would have just shot and killed her rather than have to go through this torture.

She testified there is not a day that goes by where somebody is not calling her a liar or is not shaming her for being a grown woman and having sex.

Fontaine's statement echoed critical points raised by Megan during her testimony about victim shaming. He states that it takes an instant to go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public. Fontaine prays for the protection of daughters, sisters, mothers, nieces or aunts and wishes no one to go through it.
