What would a wrestler fan’s biggest dream be? Possibly, for some, it would be to marry someone they heartily adore and these five WWE superstars married their fans.

But, did you know that there are some WWE Legends who tied the knot with their fans? Yes, no joking – it’s a fact. Keep reading and you will know.

While it’s another matter of discussion that some of the Superstar and Fan relationships didn’t work out, however, some have been rocking for years. Without much ado, let’s begin with the names.

Bret Hart and Cinzia Rota



WWE legend Bret Hart married a fan named Cinzia Rota. They met at a WWE event in Italy. Hart was still married to his first wife, Julie Smadu, at the time. Bret and Cinzia got divorced after three years because they couldn't agree on where to settle down. Cinzia wanted to stay in Italy, but Bret had a different preference.

Shawn Michaels and Rebecca Curci


Another WWE legend Shawn Michaels, known as The Heartbreak Kid, became a fan of The Nitro Girls' Rebecca Curci. He started watching WCW's Monday Nitro specifically to see her. A friend of Michaels helped him meet Curci and the other Nitro Girls. Michaels got Curci's number through his friend, and they eventually got married. The couple has two children, and are still married.

Jerry Lawler and Stacy Carter

Jerry Lawler's former wife, Stacy Carter, was introduced to him at a charity softball match in 1989. They began talking, despite Lawler still being married to his second wife at the time. After Lawler's divorce from Paula, Carter moved in with him. They eventually got married in September 2000. However, the marriage didn’t work out and the couple got divorced in 2003.

James Brian Hellwig and Dana Viale


James Brian Hellwig, popularly known as The Ultimate Warrior, and Dana Viale fell in love at first sight. Viale was looking for work when she discovered that Hellwig was opening a gym in her area. She took a job there as a fitness coordinator and met him in person. The couple tied the knot in January 1999 and shared two daughters. But, after 15 years of marriage - Hellwig passed away.

Randy Orton and Kimberly Kessler


Another legend, another story! Randy Orton's wife Kimberly Kessler, also known as Kim, was a member of his fan club before they got married. They first met at a WWE event in New York in 2012, where Kim successfully caught Orton's attention. They started dating and were open about their relationship with the media.

Kim admitted on WWE's Table for 3 that she was already a big fan of Orton before they met, considering him her boyfriend in her mind. They got married in November 2015 and are still happily together.
