'Me Time': Kevin Hart pushed Mark Wahlberg to do his first undressed scene. Check out details

On Thursday, while on a visit to "Big Boy's Neighborhood", Mark Wahlberg revealed that when he had already stepped in to play the lead role in 43-year-old Kevin Hart's recently released Netflix buddy comedy 'Me Time', Hart decided it was time for Mark to do an undressed scene.

Wahlberg recounted that Hart approached him with the script. Wahlberg agreed, but then came the hitch! The section was subsequently, of course, somewhat rewritten because, initially, he was dressed; by the end, he was completely exposed.

They kept him in Long Beach for about 12 hours straight, according to Wahlberg. He just put on a pair of Jordans. Then he had to undress and was placed in Daisy Dukes.


Wahlberg, in conclusion, said that he had indeed been done dirty.

Wahlberg plays Hart's old friend in the film, which debuted on Friday on Netflix. The two reunite and get embroiled in some mayhem whilst Hart character's family goes away for a trip.

But the moments are hilarious, so Mark was like, you know, he would do the same thing too! He felt, as an actor, he should have to have the courage to just try things out.

Finally, Wahlberg was so cool with the undressed scenes that he even made his wife and child watch them out of context!




His daughter was giggling hysterically with a purple face the first time Wahlberg came out undressed, he recalled. She was quite embarrassed, but she just couldn't stop.

He also stated earlier this month that his children are "terribly embarrassed" by his 1990s and "Good Vibrations" era fashion choices.

His son, too, didn't have a shirt on the entire time when they were on summer vacation, and his underpants were hanging out. He laughed as he recalled the incident in an interview. His son snatched the look, he says.

His rock-solid body, though, has remained intact ever since. The well-known fitness enthusiast is rumoured to get out of bed around two in the morning so he can hit the gym by three.

Listed among the highest-paid Hollywood actors by Forbes in 2017, Wahlberg earned a whopping $68 million in 2017 because of films like "Ted," "Planet of the Apes," and "The Perfect Storm."

Mark is currently working on his next two releases: 'Arthur the King' and 'Our Man from Jersey'.
