Who is Dr. Christina B. Propst?
Dr. Christina B. Propst is a Houston-based pediatrician. Known previously for her long-standing career in child healthcare, Dr. Propst had over two decades of experience in pediatrics and was affiliated with multiple medical institutions, including Blue Fish Pediatrics, Memorial Hermann Health System, and Houston Methodist.
Over the last 25 years, she has built a reputation in Houston’s medical community as a caring and competent pediatrician, serving thousands of children and families.

Why was this Texas pediatrician fired?
Dr. Propst’s career ended abruptly after a post she made under the name “Chris Tina” went viral. In it, she appeared to mock the victims of the deadly Texas floods in Kerr County, insinuating that the majority Republican-voting population had received “what they voted for.”“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,” Probst wrote in the now-viral post
Her employer, Blue Fish Pediatrics, first suspended her before ultimately terminating her employment, stating that her comments did not reflect the values of the practice.

The Memorial Hermann Health System also distanced itself from her, clarifying that she was not their employee and reiterating their zero-tolerance policy for divisive rhetoric.
