Massive fire engulfs the north of the USA and spreads through more than 2200 acres
As the fire rages on and engulfs 2200 acres of forest land, thousands of trees are destroyed, causing a massive blow to the environment.

The blaze has spread to four major townships of Washington, Shamong, Hammonton, and Mullica, the winds blowing over the arid conditions. The department has published the report on social media. They reported having accounted for more than 600 acres as being burnt to ash. They have been able to clear out only 10% of the damaged area; however, no injuries or casualties have been reported.
Since the fire broke out, all activities have been shut for some period now. 2 roads have been closed for vehicles along with a few trails in the mountainous region shut for tourists. Trekking or cycling along various trails, boating or rafting along the Mullica River trail, Mullica River campground, the Atsion Recreation area, to Batsto village are closed too.
A few structures could get affected due to the fire, like the Paradise Lake Compound, where local fire departments are assisting in the salvaging and containing services. They are also helping out in the Batsto Village area.
The people would bear the brunt of no let-up until coming Monday, when weather conditions are expected to reconcile from 80 mph to 5-10 mph. By evening the winds would stop, and hopefully, rain is expected.
